Ännu ett Texas-band värt att nämna. The Huns var ett av de första att syssla med punk och var en inspiration för band som The Dicks och Big boys. Enligt The Huns själva var de inte punkare; de var "assholes" och de spelade inte punkrock, utan "asshole-rock". En intressant händelse ur The Huns historia var deras premiär spelning september -78, när sångaren Phil Tolstead pussade en snut på munnen, vilket ledde till kalabalik.

"According to the eyewitness accounts, two policemen, one uniformed at the door and the other a plainclothesman inside, were present before the performance watched by approximately 120 persons.

Tony Browning of Austin said Phil Tolstead, the lead singer, was pointing at the uniformed officer, singing a song titled "Eat death scum", which included the lyrics, "I hate you, I hate you", and the officer approached the stage.

Larry Oiser, a University communication student, who was present, said that when the singer responded by trying to kiss the officer, the officer handcuffed Tolstead, and the audience then rushed the stage."

Bandet släppte en enda 7" på det sena 70-talet (Busy kids/Glad he's dead) som är inte så värst intressant. Live at Palladium (EV records -95) är mer intressant, då den förutom 7"an också innehåller ett helt gäng andra bättre, tidigare outgivna låtar. Jag går inte in på hur bandets musik låter, det kan ni själva ta reda på genom att trycka här och lyssna på Huns bästa "asshole-rock" i form av Violence, Murder in Texas och Kill all Men.
